ROADHOUSE GRILLE (website)

Located at the intersection of King George Blvd and 160th Street Stayte street in South Surrey

The Roadhouse has three very distinct dining areas all under one roof. A funk 50's diner, a classy sit up bar area and a casual fine dining area.

Home cooked meals augmented by daily lunch and dinner specials. Live music on the weekends as well as special occasions like Sunday's Bluegrass nights one night a week.

 

LAURA'S COFFE CORNER (FACEBOOK)

Owner LAURA CORNALE has created an atmosphere not unlike the popular TV show "Cheers" where everyone knows your name.

Great coffee drinks, daily lunch specials including award winning made from scratch soups and a wide selection of homemade sandwiches, muffins and a wide selection of dessert items.

Located in the 5 Corners District of White Rock. Open daily 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

 

FIVE DOORS DOWN (FACEBOOK)

Owner MATHEW HALE built his reputation on the White Rock waterfront with is original restaurant CIELO'S.

MATHEW'S latest culinary creation Five Doors Down continues the tradition. One of the best ocean views on White Rock's west beach is highlighted by the crisp clean atmosphere of the interior design. Daily specials augment the creative lunch and dinner menus plus an extensive wine list.

 

COSMOS GREEK RESTAURANT (website)

The longest running show on the dining scene in White Rock. For 35 years Cosmos on the waterfront on west beach has served up traditional Greek recipes at lunch and dinner. Prices are very reasonable, great staff and a bright clean traditionally designed Greek restaurant atmosphere. Cosmos also presents male and female belly dancers on a regular basis on the weekend. POULTRY IN MOTION (FACEBOOK)

Holly's Poultry In Motion is the #1 breakfast location on White Rock's waterfront. World famous muffins and a breakfast menu that just doesn't quit has hit the bull's-eye with dawn breakers for a number of years. Features a small outdoor patio for dining on nice days.

 

GOOD DAY SUNSHINE CAFE (website)

The Good Day Sunshine Cafe is rapidly building a strong following of commuters travelling along the King George Blvd. in South Surrey.

The restaurant located in the Shops At High Street complex has daily soup and lunch specials, a nod to gluten free items, fully licensed and also hosts live music nights. Oh yes don't forget to sample their signature Vegetarian chili.

 

5 CORNERS DINER (facebook)

White Rock's original "diner." Owners Cathy and Barb have been serving the public collectively for decades. Fresh homemade soups coupled with daily specials hearty breakfasts and our personal favourite veggie burger topped with an onion ring. Open for breakfast and lunch.

 

ELLES ORGANIC (website)

Owners Mark and Lauren jumped from their humble beginnings in Hillcrest Mall to their new location on Johnston Road in uptown White Rock. Casual fine dining with a nod to organic ingredients has quickly attracted the lunch crowd. Gourmet lunch specials, best coffee uptown and delicious soups form the basis of ELLES. Watch for the expansion of dinner openings coming this Spring.

 

CONEY ISLAND FISH N CHIPS

If you want to start a heated debate just ask someone who makes the best fish n' chips in White Rock. We have sampled them all and our vote goes to CONEY ISLAND fish n'chips on White Rock's East Beach. Brothers Ken & Mike and their extended families dish up hand cut french fries and daily fresh fish. Cod or halibut? take your pick.
