SUMMITS OF CANADA

White Rock Councillor James Coleridge is attempting to climb Canada's highest peak, Mount Logan in the Yukon. Students around the world will follow his climb and make it a classroom project. The White Rock Sun will provide daily updates on Coleridge's progress.

There are two sayings that have guided me well, both on and off the mountain, which I would like to share with you. The first is 'To get good, you give good!' which is something I deeply believe in and that good things happen to good people. The second is 'The journey is the destination' as life is a journey that challenges and graces one's life on the path to the destination. It is these challenges and the path we take that transforms the word – life – to live. Be sure to live every single day you are blessed with, for each day should be treated as a gift.
