Signs have been posted on the Christopherson Steps warning of an upcoming closure for repairs.  This staircase provides access to both Crescent Beach and Crescent Rock beach.  The following information is now on the Surrey.ca website:

Christopherson Steps will be closed for maintenance from Monday, August 11 through Friday, August 15.  We invite you to explore our newly upgraded stairs at 1001 Steps during this closure. They are located at the 12500 Block of 15A Avenue.

This coming Saturday we start our Sullivan Excursion - four times a day from Cloverdale station to Sullivan from May 4th to September 28th We are delighted that the Surrey Firefighters Pipe and Drums Band will be playing next Sunday morning before the first run at 10:00, then Michelle Carlisle will be performing in the afternoon.

Lots of FACEBOOK posts for people wanting to donate stuff, invite people to check out this group, always lots of people looking to pick up what you're getting rid of, super friendly and reliable and a wonderful community group.

 

 

 

 

 

**I am currently looking for 3 volunteers to help me organize the donations the week prior and on the day of who is willing to work from 11-1 for the set up and for the event from 1-3 and lastly to help with clean up. Volunteers selected would need to be physically able, have a vehicle and be avaiable the first week of Sept and all day on Sept 7.**
